ver since I can remember I have had an affinity with nature. I think it speaks to us, teaches us how to better understand ourselves, and gives us hope and new ideas. I remember climbing a tree -- I stared across the field at the hills watching the sunset changes its colors. I remember walking alongside the railroad (age 18) with my hand-me-down Canon AE-1 capturing all the beauty I appreciated. Being in nature has always lifted me up when I was down. I am 26 now, and live in Missouri with my father. I've been in college for five years studying photography, and have nine years of experience photographing nature. I am always working on improving my images. It is what I love and will continue do so as long as I live. I hope you will also find enjoyment and feel lifted by viewing my photos in at least the tiniest bit. My photography is only an attempt at recreating the emotional senses and beauty that exist all around us.
